Position Overview

The Customer Experience & Online Sales Associate at arenaflex serves as a critical liaison between our customers and our organization. This multifaceted role combines customer service excellence with proactive sales engagement, requiring the successful candidate to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, process orders, and contribute to revenue growth through various channels. This position requires someone who can seamlessly transition between addressing customer complaints, posting inventory items for online sale, organizing warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate customer records. Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, serving as a professional liaison between clientele and arenaflex to address inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions with confidence and accuracy, while proactively suggesting information about complementary products and services that may benefit the customer.
  • Open new customer accounts by accurately recording account information in our systems, ensuring all data is captured correctly for future reference and service delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer records by consistently updating account information, contact details, and interaction histories to ensure data integrity across all platforms.

Issue Resolution and Customer Support

  • Resolve product or service problems by carefully clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the root cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting corrections or adjustments when necessary, and following up to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Process and manage various customer requests including complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing inquiries, shipping concerns, receiving documentation, posting transactions, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle difficult customer situations with professionalism, empathy, and patience, always striving to find mutually beneficial solutions that uphold arenaflex's reputation for excellence.

Online Sales and Digital Presence

  • Research, photograph, and post items for sale across multiple online platforms and arenaflex's social media accounts, ensuring attractive and accurate product presentations that drive customer engagement.
  • Organize and gather detailed information about inventory items for online posting, including descriptions, specifications, pricing, and high-quality images to maximize sales potential across various sales sites.
  • Monitor online listings for accuracy, update inventory availability, and respond promptly to online inquiries and offers to maintain a dynamic and competitive digital marketplace presence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling product descriptions and promotional content that enhances arenaflex's brand visibility and drives online sales conversions.

Inventory and Warehouse Operations

  • Organize and maintain the warehouse and inventory areas, ensuring items are properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible for both online fulfillment and customer pickup.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and report findings to management for proactive inventory management.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Team Collaboration and Administrative Support

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, supporting colleagues during peak periods, and participating in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges as arenaflex continues to grow and evolve.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Physical and Practical Requirements

  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute to ensure efficient communication and data entry.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion to assist with warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Valid driver's license to support occasional travel or transportation needs as required by the role.
  • Availability to work weekends, as weekend work is expected in this position to meet customer and operational demands.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, retail, or e-commerce environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, point-of-sale software, and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
  • Experience with online marketplace platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, or similar sales channels.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing strategies and best practices for business accounts.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus, enabling broader customer engagement and service delivery.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.

Working Conditions

The Customer Experience & Online Sales Associate position operates in a dynamic environment that combines office and shop/warehouse settings. The successful candidate should expect to spend time at a desk managing customer communications, in the warehouse organizing inventory and preparing items for sale, and occasionally outdoors or in various areas of the facility as needed. Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex is a merit shop that values individual contributions and rewards performance. The annual salary for this position ranges from $27,000 to $43,000, with the specific wage determined based on the individual candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities during the interview process.
