We are seeking a skilled and passionate Online Teaching Assistant to join our team of healthcare education experts. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) programs, specifically for our Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one mentoring to assigned students, guiding them through course materials and evaluations
• Observe and assess student performance, providing timely feedback and coaching to ensure learning outcomes are met
• Utilize our learning management system and virtual classroom platform to access course materials, communicate with students, and participate in live sessions
• Mentor students using various teaching styles, creating engaging assignments that demonstrate real-world applications of concepts
• Be available for student consultations, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current and valid certification in Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)
• Prior teaching experience in corporate training, particularly with adult students, is desirable
• 2-3 years of production coding or auditing experience
• Strong knowledge of the relevant discipline, with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching adult learners
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning environments
