About The Job: • Assist with internal audits. • Analyze internal financial data and operations to determine cost-benefit analyses and propose needed improvements to our senior leadership team. • Review investment proposals to measure and ensure ROI. • Investigating operational and financial results and make recommendations. • Reviewing capital budgeting proposals and make acceptance recommendations. • Reviewing indicators of business activity published by the government and trade associations. • Creating forecasts of future business conditions using multiple scenarios. • Reviewing and recommend different types of investments based on risk and return analysis. • Staying abreast of developments in those industries in which the company operates. • Preparing and periodically update an analysis of the industries in which the company operates. • Creating financial models using electronic spreadsheets. • Creating presentations summarizing the results of analyses and present the results to senior management. • Assist with special projects as needed (Some projects may require a flexible schedule). • Assist AVP of Accounting with high level accounting functions and reporting. • The Accounting and Finance Analyst will report to the AVP of Accounting. About The Candidate: You will need at least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in accounting and finance. You will also need to have exceptional electronic spreadsheet construction, communication and writing skills. A CPA license and an MBA or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. This position will be filled in our corporate office in San Angelo, Tx. Qualified candidates must be willing to relocate.
