USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated RN Med/Surg to join our team. We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology. Shift: Overnight Job Summary: The Post Surgical Unit RN / MED-SURG RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. The Post Surgical Unit RN is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee. #USP-123 #USP-RN #LI-CM1 Required Skills Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing At least one (1) years' experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred. RN, current in the State of Texas BLS, ACLS USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
