The group provides investors with investment and advisory solutions across leading hedge fund managers, private equity funds, secondaries, GP stakes, real estate managers, public equity and fixed income strategies. With over 350 professionals across 11 offices globally, XIG helps institutional and individual investors with their program design, manager diligence, portfolio construction and risk management. The investment solutions in XIG have a long history and our programs have seeded and partnered with many of the world's most prominent alternative investment managers. Today, XIG oversees over $300 billion across portfolios of both customized and commingled fund solutions as one of the world's broadest, deepest and longest-standing “open architecture” programs. XIG Petershill Established in 2007, the XIG Petershill business within the Asset Management business partners with leading alternative asset managers and helps to accelerate their strategic development. Petershill’s minority investments seek to support the creation of long-term value by providing strategic capital to enhance employee retention, facilitate business development, buy out legacy equity holders and generate strategic options – while preserving the autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit of these organizations. Petershill has partnered with over 35 alternative asset management firms to date and has raised over $14.0bn of commitments in private fund commitments. Petershill is also the operator of Petershill Partners (LSE: PHLL), a London Stock Exchange listed company. Principal Responsibilities Senior investment team member for evaluating investments for XIG Petershill funds, which have raised and deployed over $14bn of capital since inception Co-ordinate between junior team members and the Investment Committee in evaluating and executing private equity investments Run term and investment contract negotiation for each investment Co-ordinate deal term matters between the investment team and GS Legal Oversee ongoing investment changes, updates and issues Revise investment approach to incorporate changing terms and trends 6+ years of experience at a top Law firm, covering asset management, M&A, funds, or GP stakes Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000.
