AP/AR Specialist - Construction
AP/AR Specialist A well-established steel erection company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support overall accounting functions. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with job cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records in Foundation Software and support month-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and vendors to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in construction accounting with a focus on AP/AR.
- Strong understanding of construction billing, lien waivers, and compliance documentation.
- Proficiency in Foundation Software preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
