Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Associate to join our dynamic educational team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering the growth and development of young learners. Collaborating with fellow educators, you will help create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to thrive. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an engaging educational curriculum that adheres to Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Vermont Early Learning Standards. • Design activities that support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children. • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with families through various channels. • Ensure adherence to all center policies and state regulations. • Cultivate a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere compliant with state guidelines. • Keep detailed records of observations, curriculum, and assessments within established timelines. • Engage in ongoing professional development by maintaining a personal growth plan. Required Skills • Strong verbal and written communication abilities. • Capability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents. • In-depth understanding of child development principles. • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification. Qualifications • Must comply with Vermont State Regulations for Teacher Associates. • High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum age of 20. • Background check and fingerprint clearance are mandatory. • Completion of Mandated Reporter Training and Vermont Orientation Training is required.
