Responsibilities • Verify insurance coverage for patients requiring in-home IV therapy. , • Perform benefit investigations and obtain prior authorizations for new and existing patients. , • Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. , • Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers. , • Understand insurance carriers and concepts including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage. Requirements • Analytical and problem-solving skills. , • Attention to detail. , • Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. , • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Nice-to-haves • Minimum one year experience working in a healthcare environment. , • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors. , • Epic experience.
