Role Overview

This full‑time remote position reports to the Data Manager and collaborates closely with senior members of the data team. You will be responsible for digitizing a variety of source documents, ensuring that every entry meets arenaflex’s rigorous standards for precision, confidentiality, and timeliness. The role is ideal for individuals who are meticulous, tech‑savvy, and enjoy working independently while contributing to a larger, mission‑driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer data from paper formats (invoices, contracts, forms, etc.) to computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Enter data provided directly by customers, ensuring that each entry reflects the original source without distortion.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets containing large volumes of figures, guaranteeing zero‑error calculations and consistent formatting.
  • Verify data by cross‑checking entries against source documents, flagging any discrepancies for review.
  • Update existing records to reflect the most current information, adhering to arenaflex’s data‑versioning protocols.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files upon request, delivering accurate results within agreed timelines.
  • Perform regular backups of digital files to safeguard against data loss and support disaster‑recovery procedures.
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entry to prevent misplacement and ensure a clean, auditable workflow.
  • Participate in periodic data‑quality audits, contributing insights that help refine arenaflex’s data‑governance policies.
  • Collaborate with the Data Manager and other team members to continuously improve entry processes, tools, and documentation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk or in a comparable role that required high‑volume, high‑accuracy data handling.
  • Fast typing ability (minimum 70 WPM) with proficiency in touch‑typing techniques.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel; experience with spreadsheet formulas and data validation is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices such as scanners and barcode readers.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and data‑entry software.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, coupled with a customer‑service mindset.
