[Remote] AI-Driven Growth & Innovation Specialist (DTC E-commerce)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Canaan Inc. is seeking an AI-native Growth & Innovation Specialist to help build and scale their Home product business in the U.S. market. The role involves using AI tools for market research, executing user acquisition strategies, and optimizing e-commerce operations to drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Use AI tools to analyze U.S. consumer trends, competitors, and leading DTC brands
- Conduct research on high-traffic independent websites and successful growth strategies
- Generate structured insights from customer behavior, reviews, and feedback using AI
- Plan and execute user acquisition strategies across major digital channels but not limited to :
- Google Ads (Search / Display / YouTube)
- Meta Ads (Instagram / Facebook)
- TikTok / TikTok Ads / TikTok Shop ecosystem
- Test and optimize paid advertising campaigns for conversion and ROI
- Explore organic and paid synergy across social platforms
- Identify scalable traffic sources for long-term growth
- Support building and optimizing independent e-commerce websites
- Improve user journey, conversion rate, landing pages, and product storytelling
- Run rapid experiments on messaging, positioning, and creative assets
- Use AI tools to create and optimize marketing content (copy, images, video concepts)
- Leverage AI for ad creative generation and testing at scale
- Continuously explore emerging AI tools to improve speed and quality of content production
- Design and run fast growth experiments (A/B testing mindset)
- Build repeatable, AI-powered workflows for marketing and operations
- Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Collect and structure customer feedback from multiple channels
- Translate insights into product improvement and marketing recommendations
- Work closely with product team on positioning and future product iterations
Skills
- 1 year experience in e-commerce, DTC, growth marketing, or digital operations
- Strong experience or curiosity in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Perplexity, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn and integrate new AI tools into workflows
- Strong understanding of U.S. consumer behavior and digital platforms
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working in ambiguity and fast iteration
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads preferred
- Experience with Shopify or independent e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Familiar with influencer marketing, content creation, or creator economy
- You already use AI tools to improve your work or personal projects
- You have hands-on experience running ads on Google / Meta / TikTok
- You think in systems and growth loops, not just tasks
- You like testing ideas quickly instead of over-planning
- You have side projects, content accounts, or e-commerce experiments
