Position Summary

This full‑time, work‑from‑home opportunity is open to candidates who reside in Michigan and are within a 75‑mile radius of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy hub located at 1307 Allen Dr, Suite H, Troy, MI. You will join a dynamic team that handles high‑volume, high‑complexity pharmacy interactions, providing telephone support, order coordination, and problem‑solving for patients receiving specialty drug therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients calling about new specialty medication orders or refills, delivering compassionate, patient‑focused service.
  • Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and insurance coverage; re‑verify benefits for ongoing therapy to prevent interruptions.
  • Enter new prescriptions and refill requests accurately into the pharmacy information system, ensuring all clinical and financial data are complete.
  • Collect and process copay amounts, coordinating with patients to explain cost structures and payment options.
  • Obtain prior authorizations, work closely with insurance providers, and navigate complex payer requirements to secure approval for therapy.
  • Collaborate with internal clinical teams, pharmacy technicians, and external health‑care providers to resolve clinical or accounts‑receivable issues.
  • Identify and defer orders that present financial or clinical barriers, documenting all actions taken and communicating next steps to patients.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Essential Qualifications
