They are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and maintain data platform components in Java, design data processing pipelines, and ensure platform reliability across distributed data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data platform components in Java that support large-scale distributed Spark workloads
• Design and optimize data processing pipelines running in Kubernetes-native cloud environments
• Work on platform reliability, observability, and performance across distributed data infrastructure
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in data platform components
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to deliver high-quality platform features
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and platform engineering standards

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles
• 3+ years of experience with Java as a primary language in data platform or distributed systems contexts
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed data processing frameworks
• Solid foundation in distributed systems design and operation
• Experience working in Kubernetes or containerized cloud deployments
• Advanced proficiency in English
