The Senior Statistics Architect you will become is the architect of the data foundation that turns raw feedback into actionable intelligence. By designing robust data models, building scalable pipelines, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will help arenaflex transform customer sentiment into strategic advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Platform Design & Architecture: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Cornerstone data platform that stores and processes VOC data at petabyte scale.
• End‑to‑End Pipeline Development: Build and optimize batch and real‑time data pipelines using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to ensure timely delivery of insights.
• Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams: Partner closely with product owners, data scientists, and agile technology squads to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Data Modeling & Metric Standardization: Create robust data models and standardized metric definitions that enable consistent reporting across the organization.
• Performance Tuning & Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning to guarantee data accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
• Automation & Tooling: Develop automation scripts (Shell, Python) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and deployment processes.
• Thought Leadership: Advocate best practices in big‑data engineering, data governance, and agile delivery within arenaflex’s analytics community.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach junior engineers and data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HDFS, MapReduce) and Spark/PySpark.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
• Strong background in SQL and data modeling for large‑scale analytical workloads.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining real‑time data pipelines and batch processing jobs.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and ability to work in fast‑paced, iterative development cycles.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.
• Effective communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed big‑data services.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of VOC or survey analytics domains, including Qualtrics‑style data structures.
• Certification in data engineering or big‑data technologies (e.g., Cloudera, Hortonworks).
• Previous work in a multinational, remote‑first environment.
