Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Temporary Data Entry Clerk to support the arenaflex Lock & Key Services Key Module Project. This 12‑month contract role is essential for ensuring accurate coding, input, and retrieval of critical lock‑related data. The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities Services department, handling confidential information with the highest level of security and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, code, input, and retrieve information using advanced data‑entry functions.
  • Enter data from keying worksheets into Excel spreadsheets, preparing it for transfer into the arenaflex Key Module Program.
  • Evaluate and verify notes and reports for correctness and accuracy before data entry.
  • Maintain the completeness and integrity of all entered data, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Manage confidential records and files, safeguarding sensitive information at all times.
  • Collaborate with department personnel on data‑entry matters, providing timely updates and clarifications.
  • Participate in group and individual meetings with team members and supervisors to discuss project progress.
  • Compose routine correspondence related to lock and key services, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Represent the Lock & Key Services team on special projects and cross‑departmental initiatives.
  • Train new or less experienced employees on data‑entry procedures and best practices.
  • Perform related duties as required, including occasional overtime to meet organizational goals.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in an office environment, demonstrating reliable attendance and professionalism.
  • At least two (2) years of above‑average experience with high‑accuracy data entry.
  • Two (2) years of intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, including formula creation and data manipulation.
  • Excellent telephone and email etiquette, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
  • Current Class “C” Texas Operator Driver’s License (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire if relocating).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information securely and responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • More than three (3) years of broad‑based experience in an office setting, preferably within a facilities or security context.
  • Two (2) or more years of advanced data‑entry experience with a proven track record of error‑free work.
  • Over two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Direct customer service experience, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience with lock‑and‑key management systems or similar security databases.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 per hour for this temporary position. In addition to base pay, employees may receive:
