Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Cargo Customer Service Agent, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that are essential to the smooth operation of our cargo and freight services. Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for customers inquiring about cargo shipments, delivery timelines, rates, and service options via phone, email, and digital communication platforms.
  • Processing and tracking incoming and outgoing freight shipments using arenaflex's proprietary logistics and inventory management systems.
  • Accurately entering data into our computer systems, ensuring that all customer records, shipment details, and billing information are up to date and error-free.
  • Coordinating with warehouse teams, ground operations, and third-party logistics partners to resolve shipment delays, address discrepancies, and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Identifying and escalating complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments when necessary, while maintaining ownership of the customer experience until resolution.
  • Educating customers on arenaflex's full range of services, including premium shipping options, loyalty programs, and specialized freight solutions.
  • Adhering to all safety, security, and compliance protocols, including those related to hazardous materials, customs regulations, and company policies.
  • Participating in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and professional development workshops to stay current on industry best practices and internal procedures.
  • Maintaining a quiet, secure, and professional home office environment that supports consistent productivity and protects sensitive customer information.
