Require Office Aide 4 Hour in Texas

Job title: Office Aide 4 Hour Company: Lubbock Independent School District Job description: The role of the 4 hr./6 hr. Aide is to monitor the cafeteria to facilitate a safe and orderly lunch period for the students of LISD. Responsibilities may include general clerical and classroom assistance during the periods before and after lunch. Major Duties:

• Follow local, state and federal policies and procedures.
• Monitor the cafeteria during student lunch period.
• Assist in managing student behavior to include crisis intervention.
• Assist in supervising students.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal before, during and after the lunch period.
• Work in conjunction with Durham Transportation as a bus driver.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work in variable environmental conditions related to temperature, humidity and other atmosphere conditions.
• Travel by car, van, or bus and with others.
• Physical ability to do lifting of 10 lbs. or more, extensive standing, walking, talking, occasional running and the ability to move with agility.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn behavior management intervention techniques.
• The ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
• The ability to understand and maintain confidentiality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate in oral and written form in English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directives from the Principal and Assistant Principal.
