Job Summary

We're seeking a Part-time Chat Specialist to join our team in College Station, Texas. As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, including product and service information, appointment scheduling, and general dealership questions
• Providing accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, ensuring that customers receive a seamless and engaging experience
• Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our dealer clients to generate revenue from their website traffic
• Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, ensuring that you're up-to-date on the latest information and trends
• Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to our dealer clients
• Collaborating with our team to ensure that customer inquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively, while providing a positive and professional experience for customers

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it's a plus)
• The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
• Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
• A strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience a plus
• A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to:

• Attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST
• Be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
• Meet the typing speed requirement of at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
• Possess a positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
• Have gaming experience (although not necessary, it's a plus)
