Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to lead our data science efforts and drive business growth through data-driven insights. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing predictive models, analyzing complex data sets, and communicating insights to stakeholders. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide strategic vision and leadership for the data science group, focusing on Omni Channel examination across both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels.

• Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Examiners, Specialized Associates, and Business Pioneers to develop an innovation roadmap based on business needs.
• Interpret business requirements into precise product specifications to drive development.
• Lead design thinking meetings, adapting techniques to business drivers, challenges, and long-term objectives.
• Design and implement effective data pipelines to address business issues, utilizing specialized tools and retail frameworks.
• Set and execute data science group best practices and lead code audits for colleagues.
• Create compelling visuals, diagrams, and graphs that resonate with data, tailoring them to various audiences.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques (regression, AI, clustering) to drive significant insights.

Essential Qualifications

* 2 years' experience developing Examination, Measurable, or AI models to extract insights and address business challenges, preferably in a retail setting.

• Capability in web analysis and visitor segmentation using data to drive informed decisions and improve online experiences.
• Lead small teams in rapid and accurate data analysis, feature definition, and creative problem-solving for business challenges.
• Ability to work on complex issues, creating data-driven stories for direction.
• Cloud platform/tech capability.
• Aptitude in AI or machine learning methods.
• Ability to investigate and underlying driver analysis.
• Successful in fast-paced, changing conditions.
• Preferred knowledge of different project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum).
• Proficient relational skills for effective team and individual communication.
• Capability in various data technology areas:

+ Data pipelines and ETL tools (e.g., SQL, SSIS, Knime, Alteryx, Scene Prep) + Database platforms including Snowflake and SQL Server + Pre-processing languages (e.g., Snowscript, JavaScript, VBA, Python) + Factual and Data Science languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python for Data Science) + Utilization of AI strategies.

• Experience with advanced analytical systems (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, statistical inference, hypothesis testing, p-values, causal inference, Random Forest, Bagging, Boosting, Time Series).

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
