The Processing Specialist supports core HR processes by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing compassionate service related to benefits and life events.

Responsibilities

  • Process condolence requests, including sending packages and updating employee records
  • Validate and process POA documentation and L564 Medicare employment verification forms
  • Assist with benefit appeals by collecting documentation and ensuring timely submission
  • Maintain compliance records and support audits in alignment with QMSCO standards
  • Provide empathetic and responsive support for life-event inquiries

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR operations or administrative support
  • Basic understanding of benefits processes and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
