Job Summary The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager leads the BI team and drives data-informed decision making across Great Day’s family of brands. This role oversees a team of data analysts responsible for maintaining and evolving the Tableau Cloud and Power BI environments, ensuring consistent, accurate, and actionable insights are delivered to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding of BI platforms with exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills. This role partners closely with executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align BI initiatives with strategic business goals and deliver high-impact analytics solutions. Location: Twinsburg, OH (Hybrid) Pay: $150,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts supporting multiple business units and BI platforms
  • Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment focused on excellence, learning, and innovation
  • Set priorities, assign projects, and monitor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Oversee governance, performance, and user adoption of both Tableau Cloud and Power BI environments
  • Establish and enforce best practices for dashboard design, data visualization standards, and data governance
  • Partner with IT and Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines and sources are accurate, performant, and secure
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the BI team to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Lead regular stakeholder meetings to prioritize requests, align reporting goals, and manage competing demands
  • Communicate complex data insights and project updates clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Manage multiple concurrent BI initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, and resources are well-balanced
  • Champion data literacy initiatives to empower business users to explore and interpret their own data responsibly
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to support enterprise-wide analytics goals
  • Support governance frameworks around metadata, data definitions, and report certification
  • Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data quality standards are upheld across the analytics ecosystem

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles
  • 2+ years of experience in people management or team leadership
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, including administration, governance, and dashboard development
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and SQL
  • Proven track record of managing complex analytics projects and balancing multiple stakeholder priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing BI environments across multiple brands or business units
  • Familiarity with Azure data technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Databricks, etc.)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or direct-to-consumer industry
  • Experience establishing BI governance, standards, and training programs
