Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

* Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including but not limited to: + Answering phones and responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries + Handling and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner + Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times + Clarifying orders as needed

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including but not limited to customer information, orders, and inventory
  • Collaborate with the Data Entry Manager and other team members to ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

* Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License

  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
  • LTC pharmacy experience a plus
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills required, including but not limited to:

+ Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Pharmacy management software + Other relevant software applications

  • Great telephone etiquette a must
  • Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare administration)

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software applications and systems
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
