Job Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Helping to create and deliver results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.
- Presenting insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
- Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
- Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- Performing other work duties as directed by Group Leader.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data analysis, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or business administration).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with precision and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools and capabilities (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase).
- Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
- Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications.
- Past internship, capstone projects, or research coursework in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help-oriented climate.
- Ability to focus on responsibilities diligently and be a self-motivated individual.
- Past internship experience in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
- Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
