Job Summary:

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, USA. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data architectures, and implement data pipelines that enable data-driven decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions that meet business requirements and drive data-driven decision-making

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data architectures, and implement data pipelines
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
• Design and implement data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data migration and data quality
• Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data visualization and reporting solutions
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and apply knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
• Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in data engineering
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is maintainable, efficient, and follows best practices

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines and data architectures
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes, including data migration and data quality
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines and data architectures
• Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra
• Experience with data governance and data quality processes
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as D3.js or Matplotlib
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Google Cloud or IBM Cloud
• Strong experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

Skills and Competencies:

* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
