Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for applying advanced data analysis methods to drive business decisions and improve our content portfolio, marketing, and delivery system. You'll work closely with our content team to identify trends, anticipate content engagement, and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Investigate customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Anticipate content engagement to inform securing decisions and optimize content delivery
- Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for strategic and operational direction
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Communicate key findings through compelling data storytelling across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R or Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques (e.g., decision trees, regression, clustering)
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creative problem-solving skills to complex data analysis challenges
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Strong understanding of media and entertainment industry trends and challenges
