ANALYST I

The California Department of Conservation is dedicated to balancing today's needs with tomorrow's obligations in public safety, environment, and economy. The Analyst I will provide administrative support functions, including document analysis and budget coordination, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities

• Help and assist in overseeing and executing a range of administrative support functions
• Reviewing and analyzing CalGEM documents and processes
• Public Records analysis
• Helps in preparing required documents for the executive team report
• Coordinates budget reports
• Organizes and maintains tracking of public comments and requests
• Help provide a less complex analytical and administrative duties in support of Headquarters’ business operations
• Special projects and identifying and analyzing processes to improve the operating efficiency and effectiveness with the Division
• Demonstrate innovative ideas, creativity and critical thinking

Skills

• Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

• Applicants who completed their education outside of the United States (with foreign degrees/transcripts) must provide evaluated transcripts
• The transcript evaluation must state the number of units to which foreign coursework is equal
