General Dynamics is a leader in high technology solutions for defense and scientific applications. They are seeking an Engineering Intern to support projects related to national security missions and enhance their skills while working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country
- Work on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services
- Collaborate with teams on various technical projects associated with the core mission
- Contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, software modeling, analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of systems
Skills
- Thorough understanding of engineering technology
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology
- Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

- Programming experience in C, C++, Python
