Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized support for network framework and internal desktop systems software and hardware. As a data entry professional, you will be working from home, offering your expertise to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, updating, and verification. With a competitive daily rate of $260, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Your responsibilities will include introducing, arranging, and investigating workstation systems, workstations, servers, and network issues, as well as maintaining passwords, data integrity, and record system security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify data accurately and efficiently
  • Provide technical support to PC system users and answer questions or resolve PC issues for clients in person, via phone, or from a remote location
  • Assist clients with the use of PC hardware and software, including printing, installation, project systems, email, and operating systems
  • Conduct site visits within the region to investigate issues or install/update hardware and software as needed
  • Follow up with clients to confirm issues were resolved completely
  • Complete service orders to avoid operational delays in resolving issues
  • Maintain trust in TSG by answering client care demands and determining the technical assistance issue (i.e., software or hardware related)
  • Communicate with clients by phone to discuss identified issues or concerns and resolve the issues (e.g., hardware or software failure, user error, etc.)
  • Investigate identified issues by gathering information, researching web information sites, and/or internal site (i.e., project notebook) to identify solutions and work towards resolution

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical clients
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (client/server)
  • Experience with data entry and technical support
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Ghost, Symantec, Remote Desktop Applications, Active Directory, and different Internet browsers
  • Familiarity with project systems (SPLUS, ETPS2, and E2K, etc.)
  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certifications or training in technical support or a related field
