About the team: We build impactful experiences that drive awareness of Stripe, educate users and prospects on Stripe solutions, foster community, and deliver high-quality leads to our sales team. What you’ll do: This is a contract role driving the operations and sales for Stripe’s global sponsorship program, spanning Stripe Sessions, Stripe Tour, and other events. You will work directly with the Global Sponsorship Lead to accelerate the sales cycle and ensure seamless delivery. Your primary focus will be active sales support, including researching targets, managing outreach, and driving follow-up to ensure no opportunity stalls. You will also coordinate with Partner Managers to identify potential leads within their accounts. Beyond sales, you will assist with aspects of sponsorship fulfillment and logistics. You will act as a coordinator for legal, production, and agency partners to ensure deadlines are met and sponsors are successful. This role requires strong judgment, excellent follow-through, and a working knowledge of what makes sponsorship successful at scale. — Sponsor delivery and partner support

  • Sales acceleration: Actively support the Global Sponsorship Lead by researching prospects, drafting outreach, and managing heavy follow-up to keep deals moving.
  • Partner alignment: Collaborate with Partner Managers and Partner Marketing to identify partner targets within existing accounts and align on outreach strategy.
  • Reporting: Produce weekly sales updates and revenue reports to provide the Global Sponsorship Lead with clear visibility into progress and risks.
  • Prospectus development: Assist in building and customizing sales decks and prospectuses to ensure the pitch is tailored and impactful.
  • Expo coordination: Specific oversight of the expo floor operations, including layout planning, booth setup, and vendor coordination.
  • Sponsor alignment: Act as a key contact for partners post-signature, translating their goals into clear deliverables and ensuring exactly what was sold is delivered onsite.
  • Renewals support: Specific post-event wrap-up tasks, such as gathering fulfillment reports and data to help the team prove ROI and secure renewals.

Contracting, payments, and internal coordination

  • Work with legal to track contract status, redlines, and final approvals
  • Coordinate with agency teams to monitor invoicing and payment timelines, flagging delays or discrepancies
  • Maintain internal trackers and briefing materials that clearly reflect current terms deliverables, and open questions
  • Support the creation of briefing materials for executive stakeholders and key internal decision-makers
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding items across contracts, payments, and delivery to keep work moving

Cross-functional program support

  • Collaborate with production teams and vendors to ensure floorplans, signage, and sponsor touchpoints reflect current agreements
  • Identify delivery risks early and work with internal teams to resolve issues before they escalate
  • Support reporting on sponsorship revenue, pipeline, and fulfillment across all tiers
  • Document key decisions, recurring issues, and takeaways to support continuous program improvement
  • Help refine internal workflows to make the sponsorship program more efficient and scalable over time

Team structure and global coordination

  • Work closely with the Partner Marketing and Partnership teams
  • Coordinate across global teams and vendors in different time zones
  • Travel required to support onsite execution at a minimum of 3-4 events a year, including Stripe Tour and other regional events

  • Experience with using Slack, Google Drive, Figma, and Asana
  • Event planning experience in global markets

  • 3–5 years of experience in event operations, sponsorship fulfillment, partner marketing, or a related sales support role.
  • Familiarity with contract workflows and the ability to navigate legal and business terms.
  • Experience supporting multi-partner programs or high-volume stakeholder environments.
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to review and refine external-facing materials.
  • Comfort working across time zones and with international partners, including flexibility for early morning or late evening calls.
  • Proven ability to track details, follow through on open items, and support cross-functional progress.
  • Detail and process-oriented with the ability to adapt to, and refine, existing cross-functional processes.
