Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Federal Student Loan Support

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to borrowers, responding to inbound calls and chats, and making outbound calls to resolve customer inquiries and provide repayment options. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that borrowers receive the support they need to manage their student loan debt.

Essential Job Duties

* Respond to incoming borrower calls, chats, and make outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner, consistently providing exceptional customer service.

  • Counsel and inform borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, taking payments and updating the borrower's account in an efficient manner.
  • Become proficient in locating needed information and minimizing the time borrowers would be put on hold, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain the security and privacy of the borrower to protect both the borrower and our partners, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Work an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks, maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Develop strong computer skills, utilizing our proprietary systems to efficiently manage customer interactions.

Qualifications/Additional Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment, demonstrating strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check, ensuring the highest level of security and integrity.
  • Must live in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with reliable internet access and a quiet workspace.
  • Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask (type while talking).
  • Must have access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord.
  • Must have a location in home that is free of noise and distraction, ensuring a productive work environment.
