Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Customs Operations Support

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data processing related to import/export activities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering data into operational systems to support customs processing
  • Ensuring timely and compliant customs documentation and workflow
  • Communicating customs requirements clearly to internal teams and external customers
  • Tracking and tracing customs files; generating and maintaining related reports
  • Verifying and processing client billing with precision and timeliness
  • Transferring customs declaration data from source documents into the customs entry system
  • Assisting in verifying and submitting customs declarations to the appropriate authorities
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in data entry or logistics (preferable)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with customs processes or international shipping (a plus)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits, and they may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
