Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through proactive and personalized service. You'll work closely with colleagues to model and promote best practices in customer service, ensuring that every interaction is positive, respectful, and memorable. Your primary focus will be on providing fast, friendly, and efficient checkout services, while also promoting products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service through proactive and personalized interactions, ensuring that every customer leaves the store with a positive experience

  • Register sales on assigned sales register, collect cash, and distribute change as needed; process voids, returns, postponements, discounts, and trades as required
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and stockrooms
  • Develop and maintain displays, including seasonal, promotional, and special displays
  • Assist with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/systems (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
  • Provide customer assistance in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and creative machine
  • Take on web pick-up responsibilities (screen orders in Picture Care, handle requests (pick items), and deliver requests to customers as they arrive at the store)
  • Assist with external and internal support by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-maintained store appearance
  • Conform to all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues
  • Complete special tasks and other assignments as directed

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
  • Basic knowledge of store systems and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail environment

  • Previous work experience with blithequark
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
