Job Summary

As a Lead Information Tasks Expert at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading data operations activities for a team of data analysts who work on various data analysis products used to support internal banking tasks. You will be the key member in identifying and resolving production issues affecting our client data analysis stage, and will work closely with various technology teams to investigate and remediate issues before they impact our products and services. You will also be responsible for leading the development of new activities cycles and stage enhancements, and will be the primary contact with the internal group to ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore group.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead data operations activities for a team of data analysts who work on various data analysis products used to support internal banking tasks

  • Act as a key member in identifying and resolving production issues affecting our client data analysis stage
  • Analyze complex technical tasks difficulties within a large data climate that require in-depth assessment
  • Lead research and create reports related to ongoing production moves and present findings to internal stakeholders
  • Lead the development of new activities cycles and stage enhancements
  • Be the contact with the internal group and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore group
  • Champion continuous improvement, including designing new processes and new opportunities
  • Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team and ensure tasks achieve or exceed performance metrics
  • Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of tasks, focusing on strategies, techniques, and work standards to ensure a good outcome; redesigning and driving consistent support improvement
  • Lead teams to meet time constraints and drive new initiatives
  • Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans
  • Collaborate and communicate with employees to resolve issues and achieve innovation mandates
  • Act as a guide to peers

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of investigation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Preferred Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience supporting large data environments

  • 3+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis capabilities on large data engineering, such as Hadoop
  • 2+ years of experience using a combination of the following tools: HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk
  • Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB
