Job Description

As a Customer Service Key Account Support (Freight Forwarder) at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with customers, carriers, and related supplier departments to handle shipments as per sales/customer instructions
  • Promptly communicating and providing information clearly to customers without any late responses
  • Checking the quality and accuracy of work to meet company standards and objectives
  • Following up and handling shipments for smooth operation as per customers/sales and CPL overseas/agents' instructions, fully complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to meet customers/agents' requirements
  • Taking personal responsibility for daily problem-solving and following up on requests and/or problems that key account customers experience
  • Escalating points and being a single point of contact for the customer on operational performance in general (not transaction-based > first level = Ops or Customer Service)
  • Scheduling and preparing regular business review meetings together with the account owner, developing PowerPoint presentations, and leading the implementation of any required changes or improvements

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Freight Forwarding or a related field
  • Strong customer service mind
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Sales-oriented with operational consciousness
  • Self-confident with a positive attitude
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Dynamic, structured, flexible, and ambitious
  • Self-motivating
  • Good English language skills

Special Knowledge

In addition to the qualifications above, you will also need to possess the following special knowledge:

  • Basic computer knowledge/skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CargoWise1 know-how in related functions (an advantage)
