As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you will be part of a dynamic team that responds to alarm signals, dispatches emergency services, and provides world-class customer service to our customers.

About the Role

As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you will be responsible for monitoring alarm signals from our customers' systems, dispatching emergency services as needed, and maintaining communication with customers and emergency responders. This role requires a unique blend of technical skills, customer service expertise, and crisis management abilities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency situations, and providing critical support to our customers during their time of need.

Responsibilities

* Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems, prioritizing emergency situations and dispatching services accordingly

  • Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, ensuring timely and effective response
  • Provide world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance
  • Notify customers of non-emergency signals, keeping them informed and up-to-date
  • Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring seamless communication
  • Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and timely responses
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required

Nice-to-Haves

* Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)

  • Experience in a high-stress environment
