Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join Emory University's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences as a full-time Radiologist in a combined position within the Division of Community Radiology Specialists and the Emergency and Trauma Imaging Division. The successful candidate will provide coverage for Emergency Department and Inpatient work, primarily during evenings and weekends, with significant compensation time. This is a fully remote position, allowing flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and New Jersey).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide radiology coverage for Emergency Department and Inpatient work, primarily during evening and weekend shifts.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment, interpreting imaging studies and providing timely reports to support clinical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other radiologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in educational and teaching activities, sharing knowledge and expertise with trainees and colleagues.
  • Pursue scientific and research interests, contributing to the advancement of radiology and imaging sciences.
  • Maintain strong clinical skills in multiple modalities and organ systems, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Be ABR Board-certified or eligible.
  • Have completed fellowship training from an accredited program.
  • Be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
  • Possess strong clinical skills in multiple modalities and organ systems.
  • Have an interest in acute care imaging and thrive in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in emergency and trauma imaging.
