Key Responsibilities: Driving Technology Excellence in Retail

As a Systems Analyst Lead - Digital Display Platform, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the installation of new retail technology by validating SOW requirements and deliverables of all lifecycle project installations.
  • Onboarding new lifecycle projects under Retail Infrastructure Technology for existing Starbucks stores in the US and Canada.
  • Providing and creating call queue reporting and analytics using AWS (Amazon Connect).
  • Partnering closely with key stakeholders to resolve issues, identify process improvements, and address concerns related to lifecycle project installations.
  • Proactively identifying and assessing improvement opportunities to drive productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Leveraging an Agile mindset and continuous improvement practices to create efficiencies across team processes.
  • Leading assigned projects with a clear understanding of business and technology context.
  • Ensuring that lifecycle project status reports are relevant, transparent, and add value using tools like ServiceNow, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Partnering with IT and business hiring managers to ensure that projects have the necessary skillsets and resources.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on lifecycle technology being installed as a project for existing locations.

Configuration, Installation, and Production Support

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Overseeing application and hardware configuration in support of technology delivery initiatives.
  • Partnering with Technology Products and Services on new technology POCs and installation documentation.
  • Developing and refining processes for hardware checkout testing efforts.
  • Utilizing ServiceNow and other systems to track progress and report to leadership.
  • Providing technical training for onboarding new RITLI team members.
  • Demonstrating system proficiency and performing root cause analysis and assessing issue trends.
  • Coordinating issue resolution with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Leadership and Collaboration

As a Systems Analyst Lead, you will:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to propose solutions and improvements pertaining to retail technology lifecycle installations.
  • Work effectively in a self-directed manner with minimal direction from leadership.
  • Lead smaller streams of work and interface across all organization levels comfortably.
  • Generate new ideas and influence decisions within and outside the team.
  • Mentor team members and peers in developing required technical skills, functional knowledge, and business acumen.

Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years' experience as a Retail Technology Support Analyst, with at least one year in an IT or software development setting.
  • Experience using Agile methodology or mindset.
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of all facets of retail hardware and technology operations.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware configuration and key integration points of relevant applications/modules/platforms.
  • Working understanding of continuous improvement mindset and methodologies.
  • Ability to couple technology expertise with deep understanding of business operations.
  • Previous Field Service Technician Installation Experience.
