Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure the delivery of privacy-sensitive projects related to Apple Maps, Find My, and Business Connect
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, privacy, marketing, design, and leadership to ensure that all products and services meet Apple's privacy promise
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Analyze system architectures for privacy impact and identify gaps and/or risks
  • Develop and implement repeatable processes and resources to ensure efficient project management
  • Communicate technical solutions to a broad audience, including non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving policies and technologies in the privacy space, rapidly assessing exposures and risks and suggesting mitigations

Essential Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience developing project plans and managing complex, cross-functional projects in a technical consumer-oriented environment
  • Passionate about customer privacy and committed to upholding Apple's core values
  • Proven ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolutions
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to track and manage numerous, unrelated parallel activities at once
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze system architectures for privacy impact and identify gaps and/or risks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Real-world experience implementing privacy/trust/security measures which have shipped in a consumer product and/or service
  • Understanding of "privacy" from Apple's corporate perspective, including our stance and commitment to protecting users' personal data and privacy
  • Working experience with policies such as GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience using bug management systems
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience; advanced degree in a related field preferred

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • A base pay range of $165,500 - $293,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location
