Key Responsibilities

• Operational Performance Reporting: Compile and report on daily, monthly, and year-to-date operational metrics, comparing them to historical data and targets.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify root causes of variances to targets by operational area, and develop insights to inform business decisions.
• Scorecard Development: Design and build scorecards using existing systems, and collaborate with IT to develop automated reporting through Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Data Quality Assurance: Clarify and coordinate delay and cancellation coding to ensure accurate data for analysis.
• Schedule Assessment: Assess changes to schedule structure for operational reliability risks, such as schedule tightness and recoverability options.
• Scheduled Block Time Development: Build city-pair, time-of-day, and season-specific scheduled block times using historical data, trends, and predicted variations.
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct ongoing analysis of actual block times relative to scheduled block times to reduce variance and standard deviation.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analyses as requested by management.
• Other Responsibilities: Carry out other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as business, operations, or analytics.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of data.
• Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, graphs, macros, and linked spreadsheets.
• Communication Skills: Ability to summarize and communicate the results of data analysis effectively.
• Analytical Experience: One to two years of analytical experience, including working as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills are preferred:

• BI Tools: Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Network Schedule Tools: Familiarity with network schedule tools, including Sabre Schedule Manager.
• Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Airline Experience: Previous experience in the airline industry.
