About the position The Transportation Rep Sr (Weekend Rep) at Williams is a pivotal role responsible for managing the flow of natural gas volumes between suppliers, purchasers, and pipelines. This position requires a keen focus on customer service, leadership, and the ability to navigate complex issues effectively. The primary responsibilities include nominating, allocating, confirming, and balancing gas flow volumes, as well as monitoring and reconciling pipeline imbalances. The role serves as the main liaison for pipelines and storage facilities, ensuring that all parties are informed and that operations run smoothly. In this full-time position, which operates primarily on weekends (Friday through Sunday), the Transportation Rep Sr will troubleshoot customer issues, supervise gas volumes, and communicate with Pipeline Control regarding confirmation and imbalance management. The role also involves tracking pipeline maintenance schedules and proactively advising customers to maintain operational integrity. The successful candidate will be expected to manage relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives, ensuring that all operational aspects are handled efficiently. Responsibilities • Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise; serves as the first point of contact with customers for scheduling related issues. , • Supervises gas volumes and evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances for shippers and operators; communicates with Pipeline Control on confirmation and imbalance management as needed. , • Tracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules and communicates proactively with customers to ensure they are well advised. , • Manages and maintains relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives to ensure operational integrity. , • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in marketing or commercial. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, and PC skills. , • Understanding of accounting principles and procedures for gas accounting. , • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical approach. , • Knowledge and understanding of scheduling Eastern Interstates pipelines. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
