Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled Educational Data Analyst/Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data science department, you'll work closely with school district administrators to understand their data analysis needs and challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain custom data dashboards, while managing and updating data integrations. Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Utilize SQL for database management and queries, ensuring accurate and accessible data solutions.
• Data Integration and Automation: Build and maintain data integrations using Python to automate processes and ensure smooth, accurate data flow between systems.
• Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the data dashboards by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving platform and data quality issues to ensure reliable reporting and effective data modeling.
• Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to enhance the data platform and drive innovation.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in Educational Data Analysis: A minimum of 4 years of experience working with educational data, preferably in a data analyst or data engineer role.
• Data Visualization and Dashboard Design: Experience working with data visualization tools and dashboard design, with a portfolio of examples showcasing your expertise.
• Technical Skills: Advanced SQL skills, experience with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation, and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into digestible and actionable information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with K-12 Student Information Systems: Experience working with K-12 Student Information Systems such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries.
