Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Graphics Designer to join our vibrant team at AHOY. This entry-level position is ideal for a creative individual who is eager to learn and grow in the design field. As a Junior Graphics Designer, you will assist in creating visually engaging graphics for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced designers, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Assist in the creation of graphics and visual content for digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
• Support the design team in developing branding materials, including logos, brochures, and social media graphics.
• Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and execute design ideas.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative suggestions.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Prepare and optimize graphics for web and mobile displays.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance design quality.
• Receive and implement feedback to improve design work.
• Help maintain organized design files and project documentation.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of design principles and industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• Portfolio showcasing relevant design work and creative projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with basic photography and image editing is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for design and eagerness to grow in the field.
