We envision a future where intelligent agents streamline business operations - and one day, run their own enterprises. We're redefining Enterprise AI Agents (Robotic Process Automation) and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), developing the necessary tooling and infrastructure to incorporate the advancements of AI into practical, real-world applications.

The Role
We're looking for a product minded Full Stack Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and experimentation. We’re a small talented team still in the early days, and your contributions will go beyond just code. You’ll have the opportunity to actively shape technical solutions, influence product direction, and contribute meaningfully to all aspects of our engineering culture.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with forward-deployed engineers as they support complex customer deployments, all while developing the scalable and robust foundational product which makes their work possible. You’re perfect for this role if you appreciate an elegant balance between UX excellence and infrastructural scalability.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with our forward deploy team to understand how customers interact with Automat’s platform today, and use those learnings to bolster our flagship workflow management product.
Build interfaces that use cutting-edge computer use models in real world applications.
Develop beautiful and intuitive UX interfaces which abstract away complex business automation processes and create a seamless experience for non-technical users and engineers alike
Influence our engineering practices, shape product direction, and contribute to building a world class company culture.

What’s in your toolbox
Hacker mindset - you know when to ship out functional v0 by any means necessary and don’t pixel peep for no reason
Proficiency in Python and Typescript
Experience building with modern web frameworks (Next.js, Svelte kit, React) and extensive experience working with REST APIs
Robust background building complex architectures from the ground up, ranging from hacked together prototypes to scalable enterprise solutions.
Experience using AI tools effectively (e.g. Cursor, Windsurf, lovable, etc.)
