Requirements

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Functional Consultant to join our growing team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role is focused on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. You will partner with clients to design, configure, and validate solutions while ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into scalable, user-centric applications. Key Responsibilities ● Collaborate with clients to gather business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and documentation review ● Design, configure, and optimize solutions using Microsoft Power Platform

○ Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps) ○ Power Automate (workflow automation) ○ Power BI (dashboard/report integration and requirements) ○ Dataverse (data modeling and security roles) ● Create functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and user stories to guide development teams ● Configure Dynamics 365 CE entities, views, forms, business rules, and workflows ● Leverage connectors and integrations with external systems using Power Platform tools ● Develop and maintain solution documentation, testing artifacts, and release notes ● Execute and coordinate functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution ● Provide client training, support go-live activities, and post-implementation reviews ● Work closely with project managers, technical leads, and developers to ensure end-to-end delivery success ● Participate in proposal development, demos, and client solutioning as needed ● Document and analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state workflows and functional requirements ● Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications Requirements ● 3+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst working on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE projects

● Hands-on experience in designing and configuring Power Apps and Power Automate

flows

● Strong understanding of Dataverse, entity relationships, and role-based security ● Familiarity with Power BI requirements gathering and dashboard integration ● Experience in QA processes including test planning, execution, and traceability ● Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar for managing backlog and test cases ● Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to interact directly with business users and technical teams ● Availability during standard EST business hours Terms & Expectations ● This is a contract-to-hire position ● The consultant must not work with other clients during the business hours or the duration of this engagement Preferred Qualifications ● Microsoft Certifications such as PL-200, PL-100, PL-900, or MB-210 ● Experience working in public sector, nonprofit, or grant-based organizations ● Agile or hybrid delivery model experience
