Position Description:

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our ICE group in our Michigan offices. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (junior or senior status preferred) and possess valid driver’s license. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assist in design reports and construction plans
  • Assist with the coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
  • Assist in the preparation of preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
  • Document design changes and communications
  • Conduct on-site inspections as needed
  • Maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Skills/Experience:

  • Valid Driver’s License
