Role Description The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing multi/omnichannel marketing campaigns that raise awareness, build relationships, and convert and retain customers for our university partners. S/he will also be responsible for the implementation of all marketing efforts within UP. A successful candidate will be a highly-organized team player who can clearly communicate and collaborate across internal and external teams to implement marketing campaigns that optimize ROI and user experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute customized, integrated multi-channel marketing plans that create awareness, drive traffic, and convert customers. Marketing channels include but are not limited to: email/CRM; digital advertising across social, search, and display platforms; SEO content; social media and influencers; print.

  • Build and manage marketing calendars and translate calendars into action plans.

  • Manage day-to-day marketing activities across partnerships, working closely with internal, partner, and vendor teams to execute plans.

  • Own the project management system including creating custom workflows, adjusting ad hoc schedules as needed, and assigning talent to task

  • Manage the Campaign Kick-Off Meetings and ensure on-time delivery of all deliverables

  • Develop/maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Bridge the gap between strategy and execution

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree with a focus in Marketing

  • 3+ Years of experience

  • Ability to work effectively across a variety of internal and external teams with varying work styles and stakeholders of all levels

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across the team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner

  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in which work is often non-routine and priorities, projects, and stakeholders shift frequently.

  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail, organization, project, and time management skills.

  • Ability to get things done

  • Strong verbal and written communication

Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

  • PMP or Project Management Skills preferred, not required

  • Some experience with all marketing channels (email, social, etc.)

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
