Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented iOS and Android engineers to foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback to help the team members grow and learn.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define and deliver impactful mobile experiences.
- Keep a day-one mindset, challenge the existing and keep an open mindset in the team
- Stay engrossed in the product, tech and architecture details to create a feasible development plan (in high quality)
- Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, mobile experiences with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics
- Manage risks and dependencies effectively, remove roadblocks, handle pivots and scope changes
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California $213,500 - $288,500 This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering with a passion for mobile development
- 5+ years of experience as an established technical leader with a proven track record of delivering high quality, customer-driven mobile experiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering and inspiring people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams.
- Adept at articulating the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen
- Experience with Agile development and methodologies and SaaS technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Preferred - experience working with global teams.
- Expertise in the Software design/architecture process
- Strong understanding of iOS and Android development platforms and ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
- Experience with mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP , etc.) and design patterns.
- Experience with mobile security best practices.
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
