About the role: As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key part in creating innovative new features, ensuring scalability, and prioritizing security. You will work on developing and deploying new products and features using agile methodologies, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your expertise will help us maintain effortlessly smooth, responsive, and real-time backend services that power Tether.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy new products and features using agile methodologies
• Ensure scalability and responsiveness of backend services
• Prioritize security and build services with the highest security principles and standards
• Collaborate with a global team of talented individuals

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience working with Node.js/JavaScript
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience with complex platform development
• Familiarity with Peer-to-Peer technologies
• Good experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Good understanding of security practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with blockchain integration
• Comfort with high-availability concepts
• Ruby, Rust, or C++ skills
• Experience with Message queues (Redis), Caches, and Job Queues
