Senior Security Engineer - Application Security

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to lead our Application Security team at Disney+ Hotstar. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promoting a culture of security across the organization.

Job Description:

The Security Design team at Disney+ Hotstar is responsible for ensuring the security of our products and services. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will lead a team of security engineers in identifying and mitigating security threats, designing and implementing secure architectures, and promoting a culture of security across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of security engineers in identifying and mitigating security threats
• Design and implement secure architectures for Disney+ Hotstar products and services
• Conduct penetration testing and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent security breaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of security across the organization
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees
• Develop and maintain security metrics and reporting to measure security posture

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on security
• 3+ years of experience in leading security engineering teams
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and architectures
• Experience with penetration testing, code reviews, and vulnerability management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
