The Operations Research - Enhancement team at Delta is looking for a senior researcher to join our dynamic and highly creative team. As a senior researcher, you will focus on developing early detection and disruption management solutions to continuously improve airline performance and operational efficiencies. Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Ph.D. in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative field
• Solid background in modeling, optimization, and algorithms
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing optimization tools
• Excellent programming skills (C++, Python, JAVA)
• Experience with algorithmic modeling language like AMPL
• Experience with GIT and DevOps
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well collaboratively and independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in developing and deploying applications to AWS is a plus.
