Area Manager - Amazon Operations

This full-time position is located in one of our Amazon fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings in Florida, USA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team as an Area Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 50-200 Amazon associates, conveying plans to your team, and acting as the primary information source for the team. You will also be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining recognition programs, supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance, and collaborating with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor, manage, and develop a team of Amazon associates
• Convey plans to your team and act as the primary information source for the team
• Create, implement, and maintain recognition programs
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or graduate degree with a conferral date between May 2021 and August 2023
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, access all areas of the building, and lift/move items up to 49 pounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic math skills and ability to manage financial transactions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong relational skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient at the ability to motivate others in a deadline-centered environment
• Ability to evaluate and dive deep into data to provide unique, practical business solutions
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
